Established in 2001, Boron Molecular is a leading specialist chemical manufacturer. The company was formed around a suite of boronic acid patents (both process and composition of matter), originally developed by the CSIRO.
In 2004, Boron Molecular established a fully integrated operation in North Carolina, USA to compliment its research, development and manufacturing facilities in Melbourne, Australia.
Boron Molecular is a small Australian owned manufacturing organisation. We take pride in the fact that this allows us to work as a flexible team committed to meeting tight deadlines. The team consists of chemists and chemical engineers with a wide range of expertise across a number of chemical and related industries. Boron Molecular has for many years supplied a range of early and late stage intermediates into the pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry industries. Utilising this experience and the stringent requirements for the provision of quality product we have extended our interest into the materials science field and are currently supplying molecules for use in the development and manufacture of OLED displays and a number of other niche markets in the coatings and adhesives field.
Boron Molecular has had significant experience in undertaking technology transfer projects with companies situated in the US, UK, Japan and Australia. As a company Boron Molecular has been able to develop strong quality, documentation, and communication systems to ensure that our clients are constantly aware of project status.
We have a range of facilities which allow us to undertake complex synthetic reactions on scales ranging from milligrams to hundreds of kilograms. Our facilities are designed to meet all relevant local regulations for the development and manufacture of novel synthetic products. The facilities are supported by an extensive quality system which is ISO9001 compliant. All of the development and manufacturing activities undertaken by Boron Molecular are controlled by this quality system.
