Boron has recently signed a non-exclusive license agreement with Australia’s National Research Agency, CSIRO to exploit their metal-organic-framework (MOF) based Water from Air Technology. This technology provides significant advances over existing desiccants and coupled with Boron Molecular’s capability to produce low-cost MOFs, this license opens up the space for several high impact commercial applications. Using the superior gas adsorption and regeneration properties, MOFs provide lower energy costs and reduced storage costs.
